Citation policy

Every claim in a profile cites a retrievable source, listed in full at the bottom of the page. A claim without a retrievable source is cut, or explicitly marked as interpretation. Every number in prose carries its as-of date, so it stays true even after it stops being current.

Original work, cited

Every profile is an original work of research, synthesis, and analysis. We cite sources the way an encyclopedia or a newsroom does — as evidence for claims — and we do not republish, excerpt at length, or aggregate other publications' content. If you believe a profile oversteps that line, the corrections policy below applies.

Editorial process

Profiles are AI-researched, independently verified against primary sources, and human-graded before publication. The pipeline researches, drafts, and checks citations; a human judges the result against what they already know about the company before it ships.

Corrections policy

Errors are fixed as soon as they're reported. A revision to a published profile updates itsmodifiedAt date, which is noted on the page and reflected in the sitemap and RSS feed. Corrections are not silent.

What this site is not

Not user-editable. Not a news site, blog, or startup database. Not investment advice, and it makes no forward-looking claims — only history, written about the past and the settled.
